Goals
Cooperative practice
FutureLab is a collaboration between residents, private and public parties. Through a different way of thinking, we create a new practice and design a more humane city or neighborhood. Technological innovations facilitate this process.
Vital democracy
When residents reflect collectively, it leads to collective wisdom. Complex challenges regarding healthcare, safety, poverty, digitalization, learning, and the economy are then tackled by the residents themselves. The government entrusts citizens with freedom of action.
Ownership
Specifically, various forms of cooperative ownership are being developed, involving the participation of private and public partners. This concerns both existing and newly formed communities.
Area development
Taking the social living environment as a starting point is at odds with the classic structure based on the various players in the physical domain. It requires a radically different organization.
